Seanergy Summer School: a milestone in the port energy transition journey
The SEANERGY Summer School, organized under the auspices of the SEANERGY Project and coordinated by Magellan Circle, marked a significant step forward in the journey toward sustainable and decarbonised ports in Europe. Held from September 23rd to 27th, 2024, this week-long intensive program brought together around 100 attendees, both online participants and those attending in person. Experts, professionals, and participants from various sectors, including maritime, port management, and energy, gathered to explore the critical energy transition necessary for a greener future. Over the course of approximately 35 hours of lessons, participants engaged in discussions and learning sessions that delved deep into the challenges and solutions for port decarbonisation.
Seanergy Project presented at Danube Ports Days 2024 in Budapest
On October 30, 2024, Werner Auer from Ennshafen represented the SEANERGY project at the Danube Ports Days in Budapest. This prestigious event, organized by Pro Danube and hosted by the Danube Commission, gathered policymakers, industry leaders, and experts to explore sustainable solutions for inland ports and waterway transport across Europe.
