We would like to hear the voices of promising and future professionals in decarbonisation for the maritime sector. This is why we are proud to announce the SEANERGY Challenge on 23rd September.

The SEANERGY ACADEMIC CHALLENGE presents four unique regional cases according to the needs of different port typologies about a real-life issue they are facing regarding E&F technologies, renewable energies, infrastructure, so that participants shall propose solutions for the energy transition the proposed ports. 

You may choose to take part to solve one or more of the challenges for the following regions:

  • Mediterranean (seaport)
  • The Rhine  (inland waterways) 
  • Islands 
  • The Danube (Inland waterways)

ALL SEANERGY Challenge participants will have assigned tutors to assist them during the drafting of their challenge solution proposals.

WHO can participate?

  • European University students (undergraduate, postgraduate and Master’s students) 
  • EU future professionals and fresh/recent graduates interested in working in the Maritime, Renewable Energies, Transport sectors. 

WHAT do you need to submit?

  • A report to propose a solution for the regional challenge
  • A 3-minute video explaining in a friendly and engaging way the solution to the challenge.

Remember that you can take part in this challenge as a single participant or in a team. If you would like to solve more than one challenge, you must comply more than one registration form. 

Who Will Be the SEANERGY Challenge CHAMPION?

The submited videos will be displayed on the SEANERGY Social Media Voting that will count for 30% of the final assessment. The other 70% will be evaluated by an expert panel within the SEANERGY Consortium.
