The SEANERGY project, represented by project partner ATPERSON, participated in the Greencities & S-Moving, Urban Intelligence and Smart Mobility exhibition, held on September 24 and 25, 2024, in Málaga, Spain. Hosted at the Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Málaga (FYCMA), this event brought together innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers to explore the latest advancements in sustainable urban development and intelligent mobility.

Greencities & S-Moving is an annual platform where forward-thinking stakeholders from both the public and private sectors converge to discuss and showcase cutting-edge solutions aimed at fostering smart cities and achieving global sustainability goals. This year’s event focused on urban transformation challenges, energy efficiency, and the integration of smart mobility solutions, creating a dynamic atmosphere for collaboration and innovation.

The SEANERGY project, with its focus on transforming ports into clean energy hubs and promoting sustainable mobility in urban environments, played a key role in the exhibition. ATPERSON presented SEANERGY’s latest findings and innovations that align with the event’s focus. As urban centers continue to grow, the demand for clean energy and efficient transportation solutions also rises, and SEANERGY remains at the forefront of tackling these critical challenges.

During the exhibition, ATPERSON engaged with other stakeholders through networking sessions dedicated to the development of smart, sustainable cities. This participation provided SEANERGY with an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, gain insights, and create new partnerships aimed at advancing sustainability agendas across Europe and beyond.

By participating in Greencities & S-Moving 2024, SEANERGY reaffirms its commitment to driving the transition towards smarter, energy-efficient urban landscapes. Through collaboration with other industry pioneers, the project continues to advance innovative solutions that will pave the way for a greener, more sustainable future.

What are zero-emissions vessels?

Zero-emissions vessels are vessels that emits no greenhouse gasses or pollutants during its operation. Unlike fossil fuel powered ships, zero emission ships do this by utilizing propulsion systems which generate usable kinetic energy using alternative fuels. The ideal choice of technology is determined by vessel size, power requirements, and operational profile, and fuel availability.
