SEANERGY 3rd Project Meeting took place in Genoa (Italy) on November 16-17, 2023. The meeting gathered all 12 European project partners devoted to successfully transform ports into clean energy hubs.

During this event, the partners reflected on the achievements of the past 13 months and planned an inspiring path forward for the upcoming months.

With WP1 and WP2 close from concluded, the partners opened the door to WP3, devoted to the creation of the SEANERGY Master Plan.

WP3 will take information obtained from the previous two work packages to construct a suitable Master Plan that will be able to set the consortium’s and external stakeholders’ goals and objectives during and after the project, by providing all the necessary tools and content that will aid them to choose the right path towards a greener energy & fuel operation in port.

In parallel, this work package will integrate the Master Plan’s information into an Industry Academy program that will foster the preparation of future port professionals for current and still unknown challenges, while also giving them the opportunity to put their knowledge to the test by having a real-life experience on the decision-making process for the green port transformation.

What to Expect from the SEANERGY Handbook?

The SEANERGY Handbook will act as a comprehensive and interactive guideline of the Project Port Energy Transition Master Plan’s information and contents. The Handbook will support the port stakeholders to have a complete and deep understanding of the Masterplan facilitating the EU Port Decarbonization actions.

Empowering Future Leaders in Port Energy Transition: SEANERGY’s Virtual Event with Spanish Universities

On November 4, 2024, ATPERSON, a dedicated partner of the SEANERGY project, hosted a virtual event aimed at engaging Spanish universities and raising awareness of the critical need for clean energy solutions in port environments. The event introduced the SEANERGY Academic Programme and the SEANERGY Challenge, both integral to inspiring and empowering a new generation of professionals who will lead the transition towards zero-emission ports by 2050.
