On September 27^th, 2023, the SEANERGY partners met in Syros, a General Assembly hosted by our partners from Dafni.

The Sustainability EducationAl programme for greeNER fuels and enerGY on ports (SEANERGY) is an initiative financed by the European Union, within the framework of the research and innovation programme Horizon Europe.

One year after the project kicked off, the SEANERGY Partners presented their progress on:

Work Package 1: UNDERSTANDING THE CURRENT EU PORTS’ SITUATION AND STAKEHOLDERS
Work Package 2: GAP ANALYSIS OF THE EU PORT CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION
Work Package 3: CREATION OF THE SEANERGY MASTER PLAN

The project is presenting some promising progresses that will lead to the creation of the SEANERGY Master Plan in the next few months.

Train-the-end-users event description (in Spain, Greece and the Pan-EU event)

The Train the End Users Event took place on March 21th in Αthens, with DAFNI as a host, and online with participants from all over the world. The hybrid training event brought together EU and international port stakeholders, as well as students and young professionals in the field of port decarbonization. Participants received practical guidance on how to apply these tools to their specific port contexts and were invited to share their feedback and suggestions to help improve the content and usability of the SEANERGY materials.

Valencia demoport workshop – Port decarbonization

On Thursday July 6th took place the Valencia demoport workshop at Fundación Valenciaport’s headquarters. The event, which was titled “Decarbonization in ports”, gathered over 30 professionals from Valencia’s port ecosystem, including terminal operators, port authority members, government employees, logistics workers and others.
